DIY Rose Water with Fresh Petals

Hi Everyone,

Today, I am going to show you how to make 100% natural Rose Water at home. Rose water is widely used in cooking and beauty products and is very expensive and hard to find. But you can make your own rose water without any chemicals using the simple procedure that I am going to show you now.

Ingredients:
1 cup rose petals
2 cups distilled or bottled water.

Procedure:

First, we need to wash the petals in cold water to remove dust and insects.

Now take the sauce pan and put 2 cups of water and add the petals to the water.

Cover the pot with lid and put the heat to simmer. After 15 minutes you see that petals losing their color and becoming pale. That's when you need to turn off the heat and wait until water gets cold.

Now you can pour this water into air tight container and store it in the refrigerator.

As this water is free of chemicals it wont last that longer. So I would suggest you to make fresh batches every week.

If you would like to preserve the water for longer time add one spoon of vodka to it. I personally enjoy it fresh.

Hope you like this post. If you have any questions please do let me know in the comments section below. Have a wonderful day! Love you all.
